I did this for Burton earlier this year and it's now about to be unleashed. It's printed in UV reactive ink- think of it as a black light poster you can ride.

My good friend Gabe Soria and I have teamed up on occasion for some book projects and beer drinking. This is an image from last year based on his brilliant idea of a Dr.Strange reboot. He pulled it out of the vault so I decided to show it here. We're not done with this idea yet....

Another one from the vaults: teaser image worked up by Arik Roper for a Dr. Strange pitch. In a nutshell, our Dr. Strange was a ex-roadie 60s burnout running a sleazy occult bookstore in Greenwich Village in '77, with a sideline in dealing illicit magical substances. Over the course of one hot blackout summer, all hell breaks loose, literally, and he becomes the grimiest Sorceror Supreme the world's ever seen. Comics fans: note the marquee!

Staf magazine interview

The Spanish art magazine Staf interviewed me recently. Here it is. Staf recently went to online publishing after many years as a print magazine. They've got some good articles on bands, artists, etc. The interview is in Spanish. You can try to translate it into English which would probably result in some bizarre approximation of what I really said.

Last year I was hired to do some design work for a film about some metal loving role playing guys who accidentally summon a real demon during one of their games. Naturally they must try to correct this by slaying the hellspawn before it destroys the world- or something like that. My part in the production involved a painting for a monumental scene and the end of the film. I was happy to be a part of it and I haven't seen anything of the film until now. The trailer Knights of Badassdom premiered at the San Diego Comicon this past weekend to a packed house. Check it out here.
