| The Djinn | May 25, 2010 |
A color piece I did for the forthcoming novel The Great Dominions by Mark Taylor.
From the book description....
"On the eve of the greatest battle in the history of the crusades,
another conflict is being fought - a war unseen by Christian and
Muslim as they wrestle for control of the Holy Lands. In this hidden
conflict, Djinn prowl the wilderness; enemies wield dark sorcery and
worship forgotten gods; half-angels tread the Earth while, beneath
them, an ancient evil stirs. And all men are but pawns in a greater,
ineluctable fate; all men, that is, save a corrupt and disgraced
Templar knight..."

| Seed Packet art for the Hudson Valley Seed Library | May 18, 2010 |
A year ago I created some art for seed packaging for the Hudson Valley Seed Library along with several other artists. Since then the packs have been selling and are soon going on display at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art in New Paltz, New York.
The seed I chose was Dragon's Tongue bean ( of course). I never posted the art so here it is.More Info: Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art & Hudson Valley Seed Library
